Paints

The vast range of paints in stock covers all applications including; Interior and exterior decoration, Floors, Engineering, Marine, Agriculture, Chemical, Stain blocking, Smoke damage obliteration, Special effects, Anti-graffiti, Damp proofing and Health care and biological cleanliness.

Among the many brands covered are Leyland, Johnstones, Dulux, Manor Paints, Little Greene Paints, Mathys Rustoleum, earthBorn, Teamac, Jotun, International. We can supply any main brand to customer requirements.

Wallpapers

There is a wide range of stock papers for immediate purchase. Alternatively, papers can be ordered with short lead times to achieve a bespoke, designed feel. Principal ranges include: Graham & Brown’s Super Fresco, Art House, Casamance, Harlequin, Designers Guild, Sanderson’s.

Curtains

These may be custom made from a range of designer fabrics or made to the customer’s measurements with a 7 working day turnaround from the Curtain Express or Q-Design ranges.

Sundries, Tools, Accessories

The Decorating Centre stocks quality but affordable accessories. This includes everything from brushes, rollers and scrapers through to spray equipment, ladders and access equipment.

Visitors to the Decorating Centre are assured of a welcoming experience. We aim to strike the correct balance between overburdening the customer and being there to help with difficult choices. There is such a wide choice of paints, wood treatments, wallpapers, fabrics, curtains and blinds that the initial impression can be a little daunting. But our friendly staff are here to help. Based on practical experience they will advise on which product best meets the customers needs and provide guidance on the tools to use.

We pride ourselves on this added value service. In many DIY superstores it can be a case of blindly picking items from a shelf. Not so in the Wardgroup Decorating Centre. We maintain our position as the leading independent decorating centre in the area by not only carrying a wide ranging stock but by providing unbiased advice on how to use it. New products are continually being trialled and added to the range to reflect the changing face of the decorating market.

The store is readily accessible on Furness Business Park, with ample parking making it easy to load those heavier items.

Trade customers appreciate the 8.00am start on weekdays, Retail customers can browse in a more leisurely fashion and take advantage of all day Saturday opening. For out of town customers there is a daily delivery service covering North Lancashire and South Cumbria.

The Decorating Centre offers quality products and competitive pricing for both retail and trade customers.

Retail customers can benefit from the wide range of stock and the advice on applications, which combine to enable a truly ‘one stop shop’ approach to all decorating needs.

Trade customers, who justify an estimated spend level over the year, can take advantage of trade discounts in one of two ways. With the minimum of formalities, they can open a Trade Cash Account, which attracts trade discount upon payment for the goods. Alternatively, long term trade customers may apply for a Trade Credit Account, based on monthly payment terms. The forms required to initiate the necessary checks are available on request.
