Google Analytics
When someone visits www.wardgroup.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.
We do this to find out such things as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
We do not allow Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information to provide you updates that you have asked for, such as ;
- to contact you should there be a need for you to provide us with additional information
- to check our records are correct
- to check your satisfaction with our products and service.
We use a third party provider, ‘Campaign Monitor’ to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email openings and clicks by using industry standard technology to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. For more information please see ‘Campaign Monitor’ privacy notice.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our E Mails or by Emailing our data protection officer Roger Barrow at roger.barrow@wardgroup.co.uk
Wi-Fi
Should you use Wardgroup Guest Wi-Fi, we may collect data;
- about your device
- the volume of data used
- websites and applications accessed and
- the access time and frequency
The data we collect will be held securely on one of our internal servers for a period of up to 3 months. After which the data will be deleted.
Third Parties
We may share personal information from CVs which we have received from potential or prospective employees. These may be shared with interview shortlist committee members and/or potential clients to assist in the decision making process for employability and the placing of contracts with Wardgroup.
CVs received by Wardgroup will be retained for up to a maximum of 6 months, after which they will be destroyed unless the data subject has been employed by Wardgroup and the data forms part of our legal, statutory and contractual obligations.
Transfers outside the EU
Personal data in the European Union is protected by the GDPR and we do not transfer or store any personal data outside of the EU.
Our website pages are all run securely in ‘https’, meaning your details are secure at all times during your visit to our website.
Disclosing Your Information
We will not disclose your personal information to any other party.
On occasion we include links to third parties on this website. Where we provide a link it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy.
