Who We Support

What Groups, Organisations, Events & Projects do we Look to Support?

As a community focused company, Wardgroup is happy to support local groups, clubs, organisations, events or projects which fit our company aims, ethos or profile. We prefer to support groups seeking support with decorating or building service requirements and occasionally sponsor or donate to causes we believe add value to the community we serve.

Some Types of Projects & Groups we have Supported

We have supported a wide range of groups, events and projects throughout the Barrow in Furness and South Lakes regions, including; Free Paint for Schools, Plumbing Support for the Barrow Foodbank, Windows and a New Roof for the Hedgehog Rescue, Paint for the Furness Waste Consortium, Sponsorship of the Love Barrow Awards, Paint and Decorating Supplies for Amateur Sports Clubs, Various Raffle Prizes for Schools and Registered Charities.

We have  undertaken sponsored events, such as a team in the Tour de Furness who raised money for disability bicycles for a SEN School in the South Lakes and also raise money for Alice Escapes and Breast Cancer Care, which are charities close to our hearts.

We don’t tend to support charities, projects, groups or organisations based outside our local region and will not support individual projects, i.e. disability adaptions within a domestic premises.

We take every support request on merit and try to support a range of charities, organisations, groups, events and projects each year.
